Today marks the end of New York Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2016 and we’re featuring Liberian designer Telfar Clemens (born in 1985 in Queens, NY and raised in Liberia) who showed his SS16 menswear collection on Monday, September 14th at Milk Studios in New York City.
The collection named “Signature” perfectly showcases the unisex , minimalist, ordinary and every day style Telfar is known for.
For his SS16 show, Telfar became the first designer in history to debut his entire collection in CGI (computer-generated imagery), displayed in an immersive video installation alongside the runway presentation. On the screens, attendees saw the same looks walking down the runway.
